Description

The Administrative division provides a wide variety of administrative support services. Responsibilities for this department include: customer service, data entry, filing and generating reports. Time management skills and a diligent work ethic are required.

Position Responsibilities

  • Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
  • Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions.
  • Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring logbook; issuing visitor badges.
  • Maintains telecommunication system by following instructions for house phone and console operation.
  • Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Complete duties such as faxing, copying, mailing, and filing.
  • Generate letters.
  • Run weekly/monthly reports as directed.
  • Document uploads to document imaging management software.
  • Input data in system to maintain up to date records.

    Knowledge, Skills, & Ability

  • Computer literate with proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

    Minimum Requirements

    Minimum Experience: 1-2 years administrative experience in a corporate setting.

    Special Requirements

    Physical demands include ability to lift up to 35lbs; standing, sitting, walking and occasional climbing. The employee is required to work at a personal computer for extended periods of time as well as talking on the phone for extended periods of time. Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
